luiten: February 2006 Archives
In its 114th year without a break, the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Associations annual Washingtons Birthday Highpower Rifle Match is the longest running highpower match in the country. This year it was held at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility on Sunday 12 February 2006.
Those of you who know me, know I don't ask things of people very often.
In truth, I'd like you to do something both for yourself, and for freedom
next Saturday and Sunday. I'd like you to take as many of your family
members as you can to the McMann Roadrunner Tucson Gun Show next weekend,
2/18 & 19, which will be at the Tucson Expo Center, 3750 E Irvington Rd, not
at the TCC as usual.
Next Sunday, February 12, 2006, is our monthly smallbore rifle prone match at Tucson Rifle Club.
Sign-in and range setup 7:30AM. Start shooting by 8:00AM.
$6.00 entry fee.
40 shots at 50 yards & 40 shots at 100 yards, plus a combined 50yd./100yd. Dewar. (120 total shots for record, plus unlimited sighters.)
Scope or iron sights.
No awards.
Some loaner rifles available (Please advise if you need one.)
Remember, this is a regularly scheduled event on the second Sunday of every month throughout the calendar year 2006. A complete match program is posted on the Tucson Rifle Club website www.tucsonrifleclub.org
