An Introduction to Basic Highpower Rifle Shooting and Competition--
Qualify to buy an M1 or M1903 rifle from CMP

Date, Time, and Place: 7:30am 20 March 2005, Tucson Rifle Club, Three Points, AZ

On AZ-86 (Ajo Way) near Mile Post 148. Gate opens at 7:00 AM.

Cost: $10 per Adult - Juniors (under 18) FREE

The 2005 Arizona State Service Rifle Championships were held at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix on the weekend of 21-23 Jan 05. Shooters from TRC turned in some impressive scores and took home their fair share of the awards.

The Tucson Rifle Club, 3 Points, AZ, will be hosting 600 yard high power rifle prone matches on the following dates in 2005:

January 29 (Saturday)
April 30 (Saturday)
May 22 (Sunday)
July 30 (Saturday)
December 31 (Saturday)

Fifteen shooters fired in the January 29, 2005, 600 Yard Prone match at Tucson Rifle Club under partly cloudy skies and light to moderate wind.
High overall aggregate was Justin Skaret (593-25x). High Iron Sights was Greg Fallon (590-21x), and high Service Rifle was Tim Barlow (568-14x). Top individual match was Justin Skaret (200-13x) with a scoped .308 in Match #3. Thanks to all who attended.

Our next match will be a 60 shot event on Saturday, April 30, 2005.
